We wait for Jesus

Holy Saturday traces our Salvation History at the Easter Vigil. We sit and wait for Christ, some of us racked in our own fear that as Lent ends perhaps we feel we still do not know what we need to die to in order to unite to Christ-or that we find it difficult to do so. Regardless of fear, we have and need faith–the faith that tells us that Christ has redeemed the world despite the darkness of our sins. Alleluia.

Quia per Sanctam Crucem Tuam Redemisti Munum (Because By Your Holy Cross You Have Redeemed the World)

For those who are entering the church tonight–welcome! Congratulations on a long Lenten and perhaps lifelong journey to our church. Know that we need you, God needs you, the church needs your gifts and are grateful for you.
