I never really tell people who I am voting for–often I will say who I’m NOT voting for–but in this case….I hasten to say that we must be reasonable, especially when the President of the United States is clearly crazy–and I use that word intentionally. Any President who uses the military against his own people is a traitor, clear and simple.

Ronald Reagan, had harsh words for racists at an NAACP rally during his Presidency. Teddy Roosevelt may have promulgated the “speak softly and carry a big stick” mantra, but he also started the National Parks System and negotiated peace in the Russo-Japanese War.

This has got to stop. We have to stand up and stand strong, especially when President Trump uses our bible and a the cross of Christ as a means to scatter a peaceful protest. I’m done. You should be too. I’m not leaving this country and I’m not going to be quiet either.
This is not about politics anymore. This is about humanity, decency and yes, it is about spirituality. None of us can breathe, to paraphrase a man whose life was cut far too short. We can no longer be suffocated by this racist, misogynistic, fear mongering President. Today, let us move swiftly to begin to peacefully restore honor to the Presidency.
